This time Japanese Daruma doll takes the lead role of our design. Taken from the Japanese craft and illustration books, we used applique technique recreating the drawing. Different materials were gathered, also Thai batik fabric, put together to make our unique Daruma doll ornaments. Although we used both Thai traditional fabric combined with Japanese traditional design, we think the outcome is very unique and interesting. How do you think?
今回だるま人形は私たちのデザインの主人公になりました。日本の技術と絵本から取っただるま人形のイーメジをアップリケ技法で作りました。唯一なだるま人形模様を作るために、タイバティックをはじめ、様々な布を集めました。その結果はどうでしょうか。
